Sims2 Titanic Discovered by EA!

I came home to this email:

"Hi Sims2Titanic,

I am from The Sims and I am contacting you because we love your Sims video and we are interested in featuring it/them in a new movie showcase section on the official Sims 2 community website (http://www.thesims2.com). We are also interested in featuring your video on our new YouTube channel. This is just the beginning of some exciting new initiatives we are starting at The Sims around machinima and game videos. You are one of our best movie creators so we want to give you some exposure and get lots of people to watch your videos!


The video we would like to feature: Sims 2 TITANIC

Please respond with the following info:

2. Your email address
3. Your sims2.com SimPage URL and screen name (if you have one)
4. Can we feature your video(s) on thesims2.com?
5. Can we feature your video(s) in our new The Sims channel on YouTube?

8. If The Sims were to host a Machinima Summit at EA in Northern California, would you be interested in attending?

One more thing - we want to show high quality videos and we are using YouTube as a hosting provider. Are you able to provide a high quality AVI or MOV version of your video? We would then upload it to The Sims channel on YouTube at high quality.

That was really exciting to read! I hope it is a legit email. I responded to it already, and I am anxiously awaiting a reply. Hopefully something will come from this project! I am just really really down about this entire thing because the audio, the story idea, etc.. is not mine. Maybe I am just thinking it through too much. I just feel like I am stealing, even though I am doing something totally different. Anyways, I am happy I got this email. I thought about rejecting it due to what I said above, but I believe I have more to offer. Maybe I can even get a job at EA! LOL! How cool would that be!? :) I'll keep you posted! :)
